DENPASAR, lintasbali.com – The Consular Corps in Bali held its Consular Monthly Meeting with a stylish a la carte luncheon. Jointly hosted by the Honorary Consul of Tunisia and the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Denpasar, the regular luncheon meeting was held at the Meru Hotel Sanur.
The meeting was conducted on Friday, the 19th of July 2024 and attended by 21 participants from 32 Consular Corps representing the Consul General, Consul, Honorary Consul and Consul Agent based in Bali.
The meeting is a great medium for the Consular Corps in Bali to share valuable information relates to the government policies of the Republic of Indonesia especially during this political year where Indonesia is preparing for the Inauguration of the president elect and the regional leader elections for governors and mayors all over Indonesia.
This is also a great opportunity to share and understand more clearly concerning the development planning and economic vision and mission of Bali government post the pandemic time and facing the political year.
During the luncheon meeting, the Head of Bali Police Unit on Security of Vital Facilities and Objects disseminated information on the current policy of Bali Police office to secure and ensure the safety of the Consulate offices in Bali.
“It has been 2 years since the Monthly Meeting of Bali Consular Corps has been up-and-running after it had been ceased during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Today we are holding the monthly luncheon meeting which is jointly hosted by the Honorary Consul of Tunisia and the Honorary Consul of Ukraine. The gathering is conducted on monthly basis to provide valid updates on the information, policies and regulations that give impact to the bilateral relations between Indonesia and the countries represented by each consul”, commented by Mr Gerard L. Nutz, the Secretary of the Bali Consular Corps.
Popo Danes, the Honorary Consul of the Tunisia and Mr I Nyoman Astama, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine, who were the joint-host of the luncheon meeting, expressed their sincere gratitude to all parties and sponsors to make the event run smooth and successfully. (Red/Rls).
